Here is a cloud you can look up to, Nimbus!

Listening to 'Bae Bona' by Nimbus_SA featuring Paxton, as it sinks into my skin with its nostalgic beat, you would swear it was done on purpose but then again not any ordinary Tom could create such a masterpiece. Its clear the production is from a famous musical god such as one who has produced masterpieces for other hard hitting groups such as Skwatta Camp. You would have guessed it by now, if your musical knowledge is at par with mine's, that the track in question was produced by Dome. Once again, you are guaranteed another one of those lifetime hits from Mzansi's very own.

Seeing the creativity in their music video puts the icing on the already delicious piece of cake as it was shot and edited by Nimbus himself, one can see how skilled and talented the kid is, and he manages to tell his story well. 

I happened to be invited to a launch on the 20th by UNH for their EP at Afro logic (130 corner fox& fanbranbis) in my city Maboneng, which was so well orchestrated I honestly had no regrets being there. Sipping on my drink with the bass blasting beat and just checking the scenery. And there he was, Nimbus in person and to perform his new single Mayibutho.

My word! I was so drawn in! just as the song states itself, it will grab you like a magnet. In no time we were all singing along to the hook

’’umayibutho i ku donsa nje ngo mayibutho’’

The performance was fire and magic all at once.

I have no doubt this guy is making moves and if you don’t believe me then please listen to him and feel this spicy flavour melting in your eardrums.

Oh and off course, the show was murdered...
